Walk Down Memory Lane Project

Collect and preserve the precious memories of loved ones with this “Walk Down Memory Lane” digital kit.

I have been my family’s genealogist, the family historian, for many years now. When I first began my journey into our family’s past, I was focused on building the tree, collecting names and dates for as far back as I could.

As my own grandparents got older, and we lost a few very beloved family members, I realized how much I was missing out by not focusing on those who were still with us and gathering their precious memories.

I developed the “Walk Down Memory Lane” project as a way to collect and preserve those stories and memories.

There are many options for conducting this project. There are 52 questions in this bundle, intended to be presented as one question per week for a year.

I love to get good old-fashioned mail, so I printed and mailed one question each week to my relatives. I felt like one question a week didn’t put too much pressure on them, didn’t feel overwhelming, and gave them time to think, to reminisce, about each item. After one year, I collected their responses. What a treasure that is!

The questions could certainly be asked in person as well, with more than one at a time.

This bundle includes:

*Cover page
*Fifty-two questions, one per page, with space to record the response
*Extra pages for recording additional memories or for extra space as needed

*Personal Use License – you may use the bundle for your own family history purposes, with as many individuals as you’d like, but cannot distribute or sell the product.
